I am a twenty-year resident of Southern Nevada. I attended Kenny C. Guinn Jr. High and graduated from Clark High School. Following graduation, I attended Community College of Southern Nevada for a year where I was a Student Senator. Later, I served as a full-time church volunteer in Argentina. Upon returning from South America I enrolled as a student at BYU, where I majored in International Relations with an emphasis in Business and Political Science, graduating in 1996. While in college, I served as Platform Chairman of the Utah College Republicans and played on the BYU varsity lacrosse team.
During and after college, I worked in international banking in both East and West Germany, and as a management consultant for Steven R. Covey at his Leadership Center. Currently, I am a proud small business owner specializing in Sales Management and Business Development.
As your Assemblyman, I have had the pleasure of serving on many committees in various capacities including: Government Affairs, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Mining, as well as Elections, Procedures and Ethics. I also serve on the Mass Transit Interim Committee and as a Commissioner on Education Technology.
My wife, Ashley and I were married in 1995 and are the parents of four boys: Cole (7), Reed (5), Cooper (3) and Race (1). I am active in many church and community activities, including coaching youth soccer and the Boy Scouts. In addition to English, I am fluent in Spanish, Italian and German, and am currently studying French.
